Role purpose:

The Senior Specialist: Software Engineer role is based within the Technology business unit.

Evaluate business processes, and drive improvement for overall development driving operational efficiency. To design, develop, implement, and maintain innovative RPA solutions for respective functions to improve team efficiency. Work with the RPA center of excellence to implement complex business process automation.

The G lower band Senior Specialist: Software Engineer role is based within the Technology business unit.

Evaluate business processes, and drive improvement for overall development driving operational efficiency. To design, develop, implement, and maintain innovative RPA solutions for respective functions to improve team efficiency. Work with the RPA center of excellence to implement complex business process automation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Identify, design, and build business processes for automation in UI Path.
Engage and work with respective process owners to simplify, optimize and digitize business processes.
Participates in peer review of solution designs.
Workstream accessing & appraising processes with regards to their potential and suitability for RPA and work estimation.
Implement and configure code that is efficient, well structured, and maintainable.
Modeling and developing robotic processes during the development stage.

Ideally you should possess the following:

Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
Relevant 3-year degree/diploma / BSc Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in software development (C#, C++, VB, .NET, Java, Python).
UiPath developer certification preferred.
Agile and lean programming and development of software Systems.
Excellent stakeholder Communication.
Backlog item estimation.
Architectural element testing e.g., APIs.
Software incident and problem management.
