QA/QC Officer Civil Engineering Maintenance – Sasol

Job requirements: 

To ensure that the technical QA/QC fields of expertise in Civil Engineering Maintenance are executed according to the specifications and agreed scope of work: Management of Service Providers according to the contract. Support Group Leader Civil Engineering Maintenance through verification of quality and quantity of service delivered safely. Provide advice and guidance to Business Partners (eg. Sasol Energy Operations and Sasol Mining) in areas of technical fields of expertise. Execution of shutdown and maintenance work. Assist in maintenance project execution. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships. The scope typically includes but is not limited to the following:

  • structural concrete,
  • structural steel,
  • earthworks and excavation,
  • roads and stormwater maintenance,
  • fencing
  • bulk network maintenance of potable water and domestic sewer systems and other municipal services,
  • lifting stations,
  • fireproofing and corrosive coatings,
  • building and structural asset maintenance,

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • N.Dip Civil Engineering, with +3yrs Civil Engineering Maintenance experience
  • Valid drivers’ license
