Production Foreman – Sasol

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

To ensure that agreed on specification, production volumes are achieved, efficiently and safely.

To ensure that production contributes to the increase of the business growth.

To lead and manage a production team, ensuring supply of products through the acquisition and effective innovative usage of resources

Continuously ensure adherence to all quality, safety and legal requirements.

Continuously optimize processes to ensure maximum output.

Ensure sustainable plant performances.

Ensure equipment are operated within the OWAP principles.

Align day to day shutdown and equipment outage with the value chain.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

In addition to a pre-employment medical examination, some positions may require a physical fitness assessment as part of the normal selection criteria

A valid driver’s license

 

Qualifications

 

Grade 12 with Maths, Science, English and NQF4 Occupational Trade Qualification

 

Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant field as a Process Artisan and identified and measured Leadership competency.

During emergency situations, evaluate the abnormalities and take corrective action as to avoid downtime, equipment damage and/or SHERQ incidents.

Ensure maintenance planning is scheduled optimally to maximize production output
